The thing about Musk and the whole government efficiency is that they probably will make some good, highly visible changes that meaningfully impact millions of voters. The shitty changes won't directly impact voters, but "you can easily file your taxes from your phone" will. It's not gonna be hard to gain voters when you just give people things they've been asking for.
