Hank G ☑️ (npub1agu…j0sk) Even a Fermi estimate should show that these claims are nonsense. We have a 7kW log burner, and it warms up the lounge (as opposed to just the air) at a few degrees C per hour. Even then, you can feel the heat on your face from three or four metres away.
What could warm up a room as fast as the advert claims? A blast furnace, maybe? "Step this way, Mum, you'll be nice and cosy in here."
