Gm nostriches, I am a massive fan of petermccormack (npub14mc…frlx) and dannyknowles (npub16le…ffxj) shows, but I wince every time their Ledger adverts come on, I appreciate they have contracts to run and smile when each advert makes absolutely no reference to any of the products they offer, but these adverts have consequences.
I’m still getting messages and phone calls from them (well not actually them), years after stopping using the product, appreciate this is out of ledger’s hands, but is it just emails or phonecalls I’ll get from “ledger”? Today the email had my home address in it!!!!! should I expect a knock on the door from a “ledger” representative next?
I gave my information away before I’d learnt enough, I fucked up, but I was influenced by adverts on the podcasts I was learning from. Now, maybe dark, but an honest question all the same. When someone turns up to my house, forces their way in, cuts off a finger or worse. Will Ledger be liable? Will Ledger compensate my family for leaking my data?

Please tell me there will be an end to hearing “the super easy ledger live software” during the ads I’m desperately trying to skip. They influence actions that create risks and attack vectors.
