it took me two hours and half a dozen restarts to get my windows 11 vm up to date. how does anybody tolerate this operating system.

i would install all the available updates in settings, then restart, then go back to settings, and there would be more updates available. and then i had to switch to the insider preview just to get the 22h2 update—which came out more than a year ago—and then do the restart/update/restart cycle a few more times for good measure. jfc
