Thought that occured to me on thinking about old stuff.
I tend to keep stuff for a while.
"If it isn't broken no need to change it (unless the alternative is significantly better)"? Sometimes it's not immediately obvious something is broken even when it's causing issues. Change blindness is a bitch.
And then some other times it's a metal mesh in some self-destructing item digging into one's flesh painfully-enough to be immediately noticeable.
