I’d like to crowdsource wisdom on aging parents. My FIL died in April. My MIL is living by herself. She is 81 and currently in good health although that could change quickly. She does not travel, she will not travel, and she will not leave her home if and when she is unable to care for herself. She also does not want home help. She is also …well, challenging, especially for my wife. We live on the other side of the country.
How have others handled this situation?
