Everyone has an #ego, that's part of the #human #experience. Similarly, everyone has an #agenda.
Some agendas are #unconscious, because they are based on unresolved #control dramas. This typically involves a #desire to accumulate #power through #intimidation, #domination, and control. This path cannot be satiated and ultimately leads to #ruin.
Some agendas are #conscious, because they are based on a search for #purpose, #meaning and #truth. This path leads to #liberation.
The truth shall set you #free.
Most people will present themselves through a combination of both, because, whilst most of us are genuinely well intentioned, resolving our deep seated control dramas requires a level of #energy, #commitment, and #time that most of us do not have the good #fortune to pursue. In other words, and rather ironically, it's life, and our (unconscious) life choices, that get in the way of finding the truth that frees us from the drama of life. In short, and as the saying goes, "we are our own worst enemy".
This situation is not entirely down to the individual, although we are all contributing, through our choices, to the way the world is, and we therefore live in a world we have all created. We are all #responsible for how we got here, but no one is to blame. Through a long series of choices, we are where we are, which is a world geared towards a high time preference, and whilst this is systemic, choosing to remain within the system, once we know the truth, is karmic.
Conscious #intention is irrelevant without appropriate (right) #action.
We all have a #choice. A choice to continue in a world dominated by the drama of high time preference living, whereby we all end up with less time, or a choice to slow down and reconnect with our true purpose and meaning, returning to the eternal presence within and giving rise to the answer... why am I here?
Maybe those still caught within the drama need the guidance of those who have liberated themselves from the drama? Maybe they don't?
Maybe those still caught within the drama are destined to remain, because this is the very essence and meaning of #karma and/or free will?
Maybe guidance can only take the form of appropriate action, i.e. leading by example, because talk has become such a cheap commodity in a world that is no longer listening?
Maybe those still caught within the drama are also too blind to see?
Maybe this is why we should be wary of false prophets, because, in the valley of the #blind, the one eyed man is #king?
Ultimately, everyone, and everything, has purpose and meaning, but this only becomes relevant when we learn to see past the egos and agendas that are presented to us through human interaction and invention. This is why the natural world is far more informative when seeking liberation, than the human, or digital world. The natural world has no ego or agenda, only blind truth.
When it comes to humans, the key to unlocking a greater understanding comes from the realisation that it's what the message means within, to the eye of the beholder, that's important, not who or how the message is delivered. The truth presents itself in each and every moment, and sometimes that truth can be ugly.
We always have a choice, because choice (#consciousness) is who we are. The choice is, to #believe the messenger, or to look for the (often hidden) meaning within the #message... The former is easy, the later is not, for it requires #discernment, #integrity, #wisdom, and above all else, #patience...
