"content": "Ballard continued: the best thing about the locks isn't the boat traffic. It's the fish traffic. Seattle is the only city in the world with its own salmon run. The locks have a built in fish ladder where you can see sockeye, coho and chinook salmon moving to their spawning grounds in Issaquah creek or the Cedar River. There's an informative multimedia kiosk inside and you can see the fish migrating upstream past the windows. \n3/4\n #PNW #Seattle #sculpture\nhttps://media.mstdn.social/media_attachments/files/112/748/823/661/158/560/original/a129dc96bc614bd6.jpeg\nhttps://media.mstdn.social/media_attachments/files/112/748/824/336/118/906/original/b26dcaaa2781a1ed.jpeg\n",
