Fair comment; given the current system, Reeves would have had to have demanded regulators shift to a greener/more sustainable oriented stance for her to respond to your concerns & that was pretty unlikely.... but my concern was more the deregulation than the rhetoric of justification. Any move to narrow regulatory scope will also work against your (and many others') prioritisation of a green transition.
