Most of the time, rejection of other people has nothing to do with their lives, which in fact are of no concern to me and are of no concern to me. Rejection is simpler. It is nothing more than the simple fact that I don't like you, I dislike you for no particular reason. I can understand that it is something irrational but experience has taught me to trust that instinct. I can work with someone, share spaces, see them in my office and do therapy, provide a service, I can even sit down to eat with that person and save their life if necessary. But I will continue to dislike them. Because one thing has nothing to do with the other.
