When I moved to sfba.social a couple years ago, one thing I hoped to find was a replacement for "earthquake Twitter" if more earthquakes were in our future.
I did not expect to need "tsunami Mastodon" too.
But the local timeline did indeed come through for me today. As did hashtags for posts on other instances.
