Trying to use xrandr on a Raspberry Pi 5 to define a logically smaller video area in a larger display.

Native is at 1024x768 but I want to the canvas to be 1024x640 in letterbox (black bars at the top and bottom of 64 pixels each).

It works! However, the menu bar at bottom is not visible, only when positioned at the top.

It IS at the bottom, but at the old bottom of 768 and not the new bottom of 640.

Any ideas how to make it visible at the bottom?
