Something that frightens me about #RustLang is the magnitude of the interdependency of packages. I pulled in a single dependency into my project, and it brought 68 transient dependencies. This doesn't seem to be the exception, in fact, this seems to be the rule. In total, 69 projects that I have to hope remain maintained and non-malicious.
