You probably already know that tinnitus frequencies are the ones corresponding to damage to sensory hair cells for those frequencies. I have noticed that as time goes on, I hear more and more tinnitus frequencies. These become progressively lower, meaning that I have become unable to hear more of the audio spectrum as my tinnitus has come to sound like an annoying sound effect in a sci-fi badfilm.
