This reminds me of the often used “Canada is much better than the US” comparison - how about working to eradicate discrimination. Full stop. Question/thoughts: 1) do they identify as trans - which would maybe give some weight to their observations 2) no place is completely exempt of discrimination (in any form) and 3) no two persons have the *exact* same lived experience - I would advise anyone wishing to move to Canada to do some careful research and reflection.
