Macron likely thinks frogs wearing French uniform, as opposed to "mercs", will make a difference how Russia treats them.
Either it's a stupid mistake or intentional escalation towards WW3. When international ((banking)) was in bad shape in the past big wars helped to "reset" things. Since destroying and looting Russia didn't work out, the banking system is still in trouble. Perhaps they think they can have a big war with only the small people getting nuked.
