i didn't think i'd be waking up to the announcement that robert downey jr will be coming back but playing doctor doom this time. i am super confused and conflicted. on one hand if it was an alternate universe version of tony who became doctor doom i'd be more inclined to be excited but they specifically said he's playing victor von doom which is just,, bizarre to me. hopefully an alt universe version of victor because if he's from the main mcu universe then i have so many questions. luckily they also announced the russo brothers are doing avengers doomsday and secret wars. they did infinity war and endgame so i trust they know how to cook. i can see a version of this idea being really good, but i can see 10 where it could possibly go wrong.
