Question for the Nostr community.
How can we avoid trading of user data?
Obviously the owner of the relay has the power to decide on the commercialization of the data stored in it and we should rely on relays that follow good practices.
But anyone can set up a mirror relay and extract data from the other relays. Although we will not have the user's metadata, we will have the message history which can then be processed.
It is a public social network, I know, but data trading is something very obvious that will happen in the same way as it happens with centralized social networks.
What are your thoughts on the matter?
