Regardless of what your feelings are about #TikTok, doesn't it seem like a bit of an overreach that the US is telling a private company that it *has* to sell its own intellectual property or else they have to GTFO of the US market? And the fact that this overreach is based on speculation at best, that the Chinese govt is doing something we can't prove, that is arguably exactly what the US govt & corps are already doing?
It's sets a terrifying precedent.
