If, before I die, someone builds [affordable] domestic robots that match human perception & dexterity, my top two uses will be:

• scraping stuff out of jars that are almost empty;
• rethreading the drawstrings that slid out of my running shorts in the washing machine.*

* I know, I should just remember to tie knots in them, and the robot could also do that … but it would be much more fun watching the robot rethreading them.
