Here's my opinion on Americans writ large and healthcare:
Americans don't deserve healthcare.
Not until they have well and truly suffered.
This bullshit we've had for years where things are Pretty Bad^TM, but the system is just barely functional enough to keep people from murdering CEOs and politicians has kept people from making the effort. This by the way was by design. Intentional.
Well, Trump in his idiotic quest to rape and pillage the capital of all surviving Americans to sate his overlords is ignorant that he's probably going to go too far. It's not ripping off the bandaid; it's jamming a finger into the wound.
The healthcare denials from insurance will get worse. The costs will likely increase (not THEIR costs). More people will die especially as the system is already good at tricking people into palliative care and hospice to milk them and their insurance dry.
So maybe after some real suffering people will wake up and demand change. Not a single party or demographic: all Americans, together working towards a shared goal. If they can get past the propaganda machines rotting their brains.
