This case study explores the collaborative efforts of the conference organizers hodlhodl (npub1yul…ncdu) Nostriga, BTCPay Server, together with blinkbtc (npub13lj…cfhw), Bitcoinize, MyPlebTag and boltcard (npub1may…hl50).

The star of the show? BoltCards. Attendees used these NFC-enabled cards for tap-to-pay transactions, making Bitcoin feel just like using a credit card. These cards processed a whopping 86.8% of payments at Nostriga! 💳



The experience also underscored that Bitcoin adoption goes beyond technology - it’s about building relationships, abstracting technological complexities through familiar UX, and supporting merchants through the process.
