This was while back. I think I had a white MacBook with Ableton Live and NI Guitar Rig and an NI audio interface that the guitar (an Ibanez RG421) went into. Drums were done in Propellerhead Reason. Everything was done independently but brought together for this track.
Not intentionally influenced, but yeah, a fan of old school Maiden, but also Vai, Satriani and Jeff Beck, which I'm sure were swirling around in there somewhere.
