Pixelreality on Nostr: Does anyone know of modern (preferably open source) alternatives to terragen? ...
Does anyone know of modern (preferably open source) alternatives to terragen? Terragen Classic (the old freeware version) seems to have a bunch of hoops to jump through to run on modern systems and Linux, but the modern version is a paid premium application aimed at high end users like Hollywood.
I know Blender could probably do something but I’m just wondering if any better tools exist out there for creating terrain scenes and skyboxes.
