Matthew Sweet is a power pop songwriting genius, & a hell of a nice guy.
I’ve been a fan of his a long time, & it all started with this album (his first two were not very good).
All that said, one of it’s strengths is Richard Lloyd’s guitar playing. He’s on a few MS records, & they complement each other wonderfully.
