The old UPNP API is still there, and works fine, but is deprecated.
Endgame is to remove the UPNP app, make Sonos a cloud only product, and force users through the cloud control to
- use official products only
- expose their listening habits to Sonos
- and market that in an unspecified way, probably with "AI" in it.
