"content": "Today's entry in the YouTube #Myst rabbit hole is a video essay about the design philosophy of the original game vs. the trend of changes being made in subsequent remakes by #Cyan. I don't know if I agree 100% but there's some interesting stuff here about the original's surrealist, magical aesthetics vs. later attempts to \"rationalize\" i.e. explain away those elements as much as possible.
