I use proprietary Siemens and Schneider Electric PLC & SCADA programming software that only runs on Win and I don't see those corporate cartel companies change this. But there are also other PLC companies that use the same pattern (all serious industry programming software I would say). There are tons of drivers making problems on Win also. 30% + of industry run's on WinXP. So greedy are they. Here is an example. ;)
