I went to a local Nostr meetup about a year ago and a fairly accomplished dev came specifically to tell us all why Nostr wouldn’t work.
I like the guy, respect his intelligence and appreciate hearing alternative (credible) perspectives but it reminded me of a goldbug coming to a Bitcoin meetup in 2012 to tell everyone why Bitcoin can’t work.
