You wake up one day, on the bathroom floor, seemingly unhurt but missing a couple of minutes. You look down to check yourself, and find a strange little alien creature partially sticking up out of your chest, shoulder and neck - like someone attached one of those sticky jelly toys onto you, and it's a translucent teal, but it also has a dozen beautiful little gemlike eyes that blink up at you in a friendly, embarrassed and sheepish way... And it's also partially submerged into your flesh, as far as you can tell. It talks to you, conducting sound waves directly into your ears along your body (or failing that does the most laborious little sign), saying:

"Hi! Sorry! I didn't mean to crash into you as I was going home, terribly sorry! You got a bit hurt so I phased into you to heal you, but now I'm stuck."
