Let’s hope so. I think lightning is ready to start maturing. But won’t do so until we drive more reluctant adopters and traffic over from on-chain payments.
Hell, we can even start to move on from these shitty arguments that only matter when mempool are empty. 1-2 years of full blocks should do it.
