Halfway through the book she argues that sexual attraction is hardwired pre-natally, appealing to the old explanation that gay men are created by an immune response that makes each subsequent male child be treated as an invasive thing in the parent's body (I've read debunkings of this years ago but I can't remember the details of it)
And yet again we have an instance of confusing the correlation with the causation

you haven't proven that this is hardwired you've shown that you've identified what it looks like in the brain to find something sexy
and of course I have to include my normal disclaimer that I find "is sexuality or transness a fixed developmental/genetic trait" to be the most useless and boring question we could ask
