TIDAL has an artist portal but like most artists portals the artist rarely use them directly because there are SO MANY.
For example to put my artist's song out (@_@chozen.one 🔌😬) I can take about 30 mins PER platform (tidal, Spotify, itunes, YouTube music, Pandora, just to name a few) OR use a service like TuneCore that will not only take your art and track info and push it to all those platforms at once, will also handle a bunch of the behind the scenes publishing and legal stuff.
Spotify tries the hardest and probably has the most actual artist logging in and interacting with fans through their platform (from personal experience) and even then it's rare. Most artist don't even know what their account creds to access the different platforms actually are.
Which I think can actually be this things biggest advantage! It blends what the artist actually use to talk to their fans (Twitter/insta style social media) with no boundry on the music/tracklist side.
