I put up with 60% tariffs for years to bring manufacturing back, and in return the extra tax revenue will never improve my welfare, and a new immigration scheme will fill those jobs with foreigners. I put up with H-1B abuse to bring in "the best and brightest" in tech, and in return I'll continue to see the enshittification of Windows and Android....now packaged with more AI shit to make everyone lazy. Maybe we'll get a new version of the Juicero with extra DRM....
