Being dependent on just one US launcher (and Russia) is not sensible. Maybe Bezos will eventually get to orbit and beyond too and then there'll be three options, but relying on a monopoly is not a good plan. And it's not as though SpaceX hasn't got plenty of work from NASA so far.
