In recent years, my passion for mushroom hunting has really blossomed. Last year was packed with exciting finds from March to November with a wide variety of edible, medicinal, and spiritual types throughout high and low areas of Cascadia.

For me, mushroom hunting is a bit like stepping inside a jigsaw puzzle to find the pieces from within the puzzle itself. (By the way, both puzzle assembly and forest bathing are mentally beneficial activities that contribute to fortification of cognitive reserve, neuroplasticity, and neurogenesis).

Here's a pic from last year's most prodigious hunt. It will be hard to top this year, but worth a try!
