>44% of adults do not read a book in a year
This is lower than I would have guessed. I would from-the-hip have shot that 70+% do not read one or more books in a given year.
I wonder how much this may have been skewed by "Oh my favorite book is THE BIBLE and I read it (click like on memes of verses on facebook) all the time 🙏 "
or
"No, I watch [Game of Thrones, Three-Body Problem, etc.]. It's based on a book!"
lol Makes me think of the clip with a 15-year-old kid (maybe Greek?) talking to some ego-inflated thot on a podcast, and he asked her to name one book she'd read.
