Example: My old IP center posted a story that quoted me about an official USPTO rulemaking. Some doods (who obviously had not read the USPTO request for comments) chimed in to mansplain holograms to me. I felt compelled to ignore them because my school's account was involved. But here in the fedi (or on Twitter, etc.) I wouldn't have let that stand. I just don't know the LinkedIn norms well enough at this point.
