But some nights the muse of coding or playing a game just didn't strike me. And then I'd use the secret hidden abilities of the "monitor" - because it was just a regular (if crappy) TV.
TVs didn't have to be hooked up to a cable feed in those days - they just had aerials stuck in the back, which could be literally just a bent wire coat-hanger, and they picked up TV signals from the aether!
