This country like many in the west is looking scared and is beginning to panic, they are losing the confidence of the public at a rate that should be alarming them. It’s been a catalogue of errors that is almost endless at this point. To make matters worse there is no political option to get out of this mess as all parties are pretty much the same and serve the same agenda.
Ultimately, they will grow more and more authoritarian, to try to counter growing civil pushback.
The thing with the British public, is they are very placid and have been numbed by years of propaganda and psychological games, but beneath the surface there is rising discontent. On the European continent the people flash very easily, but in the UK it takes a lot, so if you are seeing signs of discontent, it’s a signal.
I have never held on an exchange, but if you do, get it in cold storage. Consider an exit plan, just in case. The real question I have is where? Where are the safe havens? This trend to authoritarianism seems to be building throughout the western world.
