Interesting hearing different analysis of how the Greens went at the election
They range from the Greens being decimated
To my more optimistic take that they could end up suffering the smallest swing of any of the "major" parties, at 1%, look like keeping 4 of 6 seats and playing a major role in how the ACT is run over the next 4 years.
It's obvious they were impacted, in terms of seat numbers, the most by the increase in independents dropping seats to Fiona and Tom. They will have to tweak their approaches there.
The big question for the Greens this week is are they better off in government or just helping Labor govern? I'd argue in Government and if they do get to 4 seats I think 2 ministries would be a reasonable ask. The big thing though is that they have to be more open about what they argued for and against. They shouldn't sign an agreement that doesn't allow that.
Overall, a bad result but nowhere near as negative as some are saying imo
