Are we more "useful" to society when we stop thinking critically? 🧠💭
It seems like most people, once they reach a basic level of comfort, settle for a mediocre lifestyle compared to their social reality. 🏠📺 When they’re just a bit better off than their neighbor, ambition dies, and they stop striving for something greater. By the time most hit 40, they’ve reached "stability" and just stagnate.
Think about it: people contribute to society’s progress for only about 20 years, starting at 18 or 23, and then… they just run on autopilot. 🤖🛠 So, how do we keep the rest of the population, who’ve stopped innovating, contributing to societal growth?
Simple: we strip away their critical thinking.
👉 Distract them with superficial pleasures like alcohol, tobacco, and sugar. 🍺🚬🍭
👉 Enforce alienating doctrines through the media and TV 📺, telling them how to think, behave, and never question reality.
👉 Keep them running like rats on a wheel, never stopping to ask, "Does this even make sense?" 🐀🛞
Meanwhile, only a few escape the “matrix” 🌌 — those who dare to think critically and see the world with their own eyes. These are the truly free. The rest? They accept mediocrity and keep society’s machine running without ever questioning it.
