I am far behind you but going in the same direction.
today I finally "deactivated" my facebook account but kept the messenger active for "convenience" of easy contact with family overseas who dont use anything else to communicate besides a mobile number.

I still feel much cleaner now lol
Next step will be to have it segregated on an old single use cheap tablet only.
