Interesting. I have a few ideas regarding why that is, maybe something to do with former USSR members (the Orthodox churches fought HARD and many were martyred in defense of the faith), or maybe something to do with traditions and regional church. Dr. E. Michael Jones talks about the ethnic church breakup in American Catholicism in his book, The Slaughter of Cities, and perhaps that's relevant.
