Aside: I used to be an engaged reader of Ben Thompson even though our worldviews couldn't be more different, but IMO his analysis changed once he began to get direct access to the tech executive class for his one-on-one interviews. All of a sudden he was giving execs a very unearned the benefit of doubt in his writing.
