Some apps are experimenting with hiding all posts that somebody has reported for any reason. That doesn’t seem quite right to me. It’s fine for clients to make choices like that, but I’d only want to honor reports if there was some kind of trust graph score between me and the reporter. Also there needs to be an appeal process.
A lot of content reports on social media are people reporting images simply because they don’t think it’s a flattering picture of them and they want their friend to take it down.
