I appreciate the quibble!

I agree nuclear could be counted with renewables - though some in the environmental and intergenerational equity camps disagree due to the unsolved problem of radioactive waste.

But I would expand the discussion beyond CO2 emitted at power plants. Getting tunnel visioned on that one cost - a very important cost for sure - misses other damaging elements of power generation. For instance, CO2 generated from mining materials.
