Even if they had a rock solid , brand new, gold backed, Constitutional dollar, a balanced budget, low taxes, no Foreign theft, fair elections, and no Federal reserve, ITS TOO LATE for the FIAT dollar.
As sure as the sun rises, people will move to the better money. And, just a certain, it's too late for people to EVER trust government again, even if we currently have a good one now. And, the odds of having a trustworthy government is zero in the long term. As soon as the communist mind virus seeps back in, the money will be destroyed again. History proves this.
The FIAT Dollar is dead and the Constitutional gold backed dollar is also dead in the longer run. It's too late for both because there IS a far better monitary technology that HAS indeed hIt critical mass in adoption. That was the last thing Bitcoin needed, and it has achieved that.
