the first two programming languages I was introduced to, roughly simultaneously, were Logo (in school) and Z80 assembly language (through a family friend). That is how I got interested in computers.
Prior to getting a home computer of my own I got one of those Radio Shack microcontroller lab kits for Christmas (the kind with all those springs you stick wires into to make different circuits), and I learned how to hand assemble its microcontroller code into hexadecimal to key into it to control blinkenlights and 7 segment displays and beepers and so forth. By the time I had an actual computer at home I had a pretty decent idea of how they worked.
That is how weird my life has been
