Part of the reason I started tinkering with flohmarkt was to see if it might be a viable alternative for people - e.g. creatives - who want to sell bits and pieces online, without the endless worry that some service provider is going to ban their stuff.
And... it sort of it is, to a point.
I could see a co-op hosting an instance, so that individuals didn't need to do so (as not everyone wants to self-host their own stuff).
But - and it's quite a big "but" - it doesn't solve challenges around payments. It's a free ads / shop front, rather than an integrated system.
